Kidz Space (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)

Sunday Mornings 9:00 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.

 At Kidz Space your kids get the opportunity to explore the wonders of who God is and how He impacts our lives so that we can change the world!  Each month we focus all of our teachings, music, energy, you name it...on one virtue.  One virtue that we can press in on and bring to life with your kids as our audience.  We are so in love with your kids and their contagious nature as they soak in, ask questions, and stand in awe at how exciting Church truly is.  By the time your child moves into Middle School, it is our prayer that they have these truths written on their hearts:

I need to make the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our curriculum comes with tons of resources for you as parents to engage in with your kids to expand our weekly teachings and truly bring them home.  Each week we will be sending your kids home with weekly Godtime cards and memo's for your fridge.  There are also great resources for you to purchase at THE HUB, on Sunday mornings, that expand on our monthly virtue that you can engage in with your kids at Dinner time, Bed time, Drive time, and Morning time.

KIDZ SPACE JOURNEYZ

Wednesday nights 6:30 TO 8:15 (Pre-K to 5th grade)

 What an exciting time to have your child embark on an unbelievable journey in their spiritual walk.  "Kidz Space Journeyz" is our Wednesday night Ministry, where we offer your children the opportunity to be a part of Kidz Small Groups.  KSJ is for Kidz that are in the beginning, or middle of their journey.  The groups will allow Kidz to dig through the truth and the whole story of the Bible as they deliberately build their faith.  First, KSJ is all about relationships.  The relationship your child will build with their peers and their leaders will last a lifetime.  It is our prayer that each group will stay together all the way through high school!  Second, our focus is about taking your child to the next level in their faith.  KSJ is a discipleship program for all kids in the community to ultimately prepare them to serve and share Christ through their ministry.  The Kingdom of God is theirs!  Finally, KSJ is about partnering with families and getting everyone involved.  We love to see parents leading groups and being involved by reviewing the lessons with their children.  Your child will amaze you with their understanding of who God is.  It is truly a unique and special opportunity for everyone--families, staff and volunteers--to be a part of your child's spiritual growth.  Thank you again for the privilege and opportunity to partner alongside you during this pivotal time in your child's life. 

                          Below are the courses that your child may register for:

Pre-K:  How to Know God:  A Journey to Discover God's Purpose

Kindergarten:  How to Obey God:  A Journey to Discover God's Promise

1st Grade:  How to Love Jesus:  A Journey to Discover My Savior

2nd Grade:  How to Worship Jesus:  A Journey to Discover My Church

3rd-5th Grade: 101 How to Know Belong to Jesus:  A Journey to Discover my purpose                                

                   (201 and 301 will be offered in subsequent years)                       

KSJ begins on Wed. September 30th and will run through the end of April 2010, following the KCUSD Calendar.

Suggested Cost is $15.00  to cover each Kidz own Journey Book and bag for the year.   Discounts are available (please contact us if in need of financial assistance).
